European PROGRES brings together the key stakeholders, working toward enabling conditions for a better life of the inhabitants of the South East and South West Serbia:
The Ministry of European Integration of the Government of Serbia (MEI) led in the preparation of the Programme by consulting the line ministries, local self-governments and other stakeholders. MEI will monitor the Programme’s performance and provide strategic guidelines for its implementation.
Department for Contracting and Financing of EU Funded Programmes (CFCU) is primarily responsible for the management of grant scheme for local economic and social infrastructure projects.
The line Ministries of the Government of Serbia are major stakeholders in the Programme, and financial contributors. They have responsibility for monitoring the Programme implementation, and providing guidelines, assistance and facilitation as necessary.
The Delegation of the European Union (DEU) to the Republic of Serbia is one of the Programmes donors and takes a shared responsibility for monitoring its implementation.
The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation Office (SDC) in Serbia is the second donor of the Programme and takes shared responsibility in steering of the Programme.
The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) has the overall responsibility for the Programme implementation. The UNOPS is responsible for achieving the Programme objective through the delivery of the Programme results.
Participating Municipalities - 34 municipalities in the South East and South West Serbia are the key stakeholders, beneficiaries and financial contributors to the Programme. The municipalities and their institutions and organisations have the responsibility of taking ownership of the activities implemented in their territory.
