An initial budget of €24.46 million, for a timeframe of three and a half years starting in May 2014, has been assigned for the implementation of the European PROGRES:

• The European Union, through the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, with €19.6 million
• The Government of Switzerland, through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation Office (SDC) in Serbia, with €4.86 million

Of the total initial budget, €17.46 million will be realised through UNOPS, while seven million Euros of the European Union funds will be implemented directly through the Serbian Government’s Department for Contracting and Financing of EU Funded Programmes (CFCU) for the priority infrastructure projects.

The Government of Serbia, through its line ministries and 34 partner municipalities, as well as the civil society organisations will provide co-funding in accordance with the IPA rules.
